5 Simple Steps to Fat Loss

I've had many people ask what is the simplest way to lose fat. Here are the 5 simple steps I recommend for an easy fat loss:

1. Decrease your overall caloric intake

2. Increase your Protein intake

3. Decrease your simple carbs (Sugars & Starches)

4. Increase your vegetable intake

5. Eat more healthy fats ex. Olive Oil or Avocados

It's really as simple as it sounds. As you start making these small changes in your current diet you will be able to watch the fat disappear.

Weight Loss for the Average Joe

How many weight loss plans are out there? Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Maybe don't know where to start or if the plan even works? We are flooded with new diet/weight loss plans coming at us from all angles, All the time. How do you choose the one thats right for you? It is possible. First, ask yourself a couple of questions: Can I stick with this diet/weight loss plan? If you can stick with it for more than a month, it is more likely you see results. It starts to become a lifestyle change. Is it something thats not going to require too much change from what I'm doing currently? Remember the more change the harder it is to adhere to the diet. The last question is make sure you're not promised some ridiculous amount of weight loss in the first few weeks. Although for some people this may work, for the majority, it doesn't. They lose the weight in the first 1-2 weeks and within the following weeks gain it all back. Don't fall into this trap yourself. I like to keep things simple myself. My protein is usually chicken tenders, I get my carbs through pasta, beans, oatmeal and rice. My veggies are usually spinach, asparagus, broccoli, onions and bell peppers. Then lastly I get my healthy fats from olive oil. I will grill my chicken with some olive oil to get the healthy fats in. This is simple for me. The more complicated it is the harder it is for me to adhere to. Keep it simple. You can do it! Stick with it and feel free to share your results.
